Christmas in Santa Claus
Christmas in Santa Claus promises something for everyone this year. Each year new activities are added and this year is no exception. Whether you enjoy shopping for crafts, playing golf, listening to holiday music or taking in the newest light displays in CLV, the weekend promises to be exciting and entertaining.
Start your Saturday with all you can eat pancake breakfast with Santa at the United Methodist Church Campground. After breakfast, check out the crafts at the American Legion and Santa’s Lodge.
For those who want to find the perfect gift for someone for the holidays, The Holly Tree Christmas Shop and the Village Scribe shop should be on your list of places to visit.
For lunch visit Buffalo Run Grill for a buffalo burger and take in some historical sites as well.
At 1 p.m. you will want to catch the Santa Claus parade. The children will love seeing Santa ride by. After the parade you can relax and listen to some of the sounds of the season performed by local groups.
Finally finish your day by taking the family through the dazzling display of lights in Christmas Lake Village. This year’s festival promises to outshine those in recent years.

Jackie Miller submitted the winning name, Kringle Kruncher, for CLV’s leaf vacuum. Jackie received the $50 prize and the leaf vacuum received a great name!
Kringle Kruncher has been hard at work throughout the village. If you see it operating in your area, please drive slowly and give it and the workers plenty of space.
Kringle Kruncher has crunched and mulched over 100 tons of leaves already.
