ATTN: Newsletter Editor

From the Editor

It’s a delight to be joining you as editor of Santa’s Letter. While my English and journalism major at the University of Kentucky may not endear me to the many local Indiana fans, it did prepare me well for this opportunity.

Even at the start, I have dreams of what this newsletter can become—including revealing more personality of the people who make CLV such a great place to live. If you know of extraordinary people or maybe just ordinary people doing extraordinary things, please let me know.

Over the past few months I have enjoyed meeting several of the newcomers to CLV. If you are new to the village and haven’t been contacted yet, you are on my list! One of the things that makes CLV so special is that neighbors do care for each other.
Another dream is to make this newsletter a vehicle to share your thoughts with your neighbors. I want to encourage you to voice your suggestions, opinions, even complaints to the newsletter. If you have an idea how to make CLV a better place, please share it.

Eventually I would also like to print the newsletter on a monthly basis so the news would be timelier and we could better keep up with what is going on in our neighborhoods.

Thank you for giving me a chance to put together a quality newsletter that reflects the people and events in CLV.

I hope you have a blessed holiday season filled with peace, love, and laughter.

Did You Know?

Jackie Miller submitted the winning name, Kringle Kruncher, for CLV’s leaf vacuum. Jackie received the $50 prize and the leaf vacuum received a great name!

Kringle Kruncher has been hard at work throughout the village. If you see it operating in your area, please drive slowly and give it and the workers plenty of space.

Kringle Kruncher has crunched and mulched over 100 tons of leaves already.

Christmas is not a time nor a season, but a state of mind. To cherish peace and goodwill, to be plenteous in mercy, is to have the real spirit of Christmas.
