Christmas Lake Village Survey


The Rec Center has served the Christmas Lake Village community for over 30 years. It serves as the meeting facility every month for the property owners' monthly meeting, which happens to be the second Thursday of each month. It's located on our very own Christmas Lake Village Beach, which is groomed by our Maintenance staff once a week.

The Rec Center is used for many other gatherings.
The following parties and celebrations have taken place in the Rec Center:

· Birthday and Graduation
· Wedding Receptions and Anniversary Celebrations
· Christmas and Retirement

With some updating and design change, the Rec Center could be used for so much more, like:


· Card Clubs or Parties
· Exercise Clubs
· Scrapbook Parties
· Garden Club Monthly Meetings
· Civic Organizational Meetings

The Rec Center needs bathrooms on the main level to be in compliance with the Americans With Disabilities Act, the heating and air conditioning equipment is old and inefficient (so VECTREN is receiving more dollars than necessary to heat & cool the facility) and the roof has some "structural" issues. It is estimated that the project would cost approximately $175,000 and the CLV Board of Directors wants to hear from you, the CLV property owners. Should the Directors choose to do this project, Which is the best way to pay for the project?
