I have served 2 previous 6 year periods on the CLV board of directors (BOD)and now eligible for 1 more 3 year term, I submit my name as candidate. As your BOD President for 12 plus years, my only agenda has been to act in the best interests of CLV and will continue to act accordingly. I have the time, commitment, and passion the position of President demands-normally 10 - 20 hours per week, encompassing every aspect of the operation of CLV. For more than 10 years I have urged the town to eliminate the vacant lot sewer fees. They are gone effective January 2022. I encouraged and worked with the Spencer County Commissioners to conduct a Certificate Sale of delinquent properties in Spencer County. In 2021 CLV had 127 lots sold to new owners who pay assessments and taxes. We already see new homes construction some of those lots with more in planning for 2022. Working closely with our Property Manager and Assistant Property Manager efficiently managing your assessment dollars and providing even more services, we have held the line on assessment increases. The last 5 years the increase has averaged less than 1% per year. In the past couple of years, we replaced marina docks and just opened a new secure covered storage facilities for boats, campers, etc with a goal of reducing the number of visible trailers parked in yards throughout the village. As CLV grows past 950 homes, so do our challenges and opportunities to keep CLV the best place to live in Indiana. I accept that challenge.

I have enjoyed serving on the CLV Board of Directors since late 2021 when I was added on an interim basis. I look forward to continuing to serve the residents of Christmas Lake Village for the next 3 years if elected to remain on the board.
My wife; Angie and I moved to Christmas Lake Village in November of 2020 and recently built a new home on Holly Drive across the street from the tennis courts. I work as a consultant for a telecom company and as a Realtor for Kara Hinshaw at Key Associates Signature Realty here in Santa Claus. My wife works from home as a school teacher and we have two daughters; Jordan and Emily. Jordan is a sophomore at USI and Emily is a junior at Heritage Hills.
My background is quite diverse. I hold an associates degree in Construction Management and Technology from IVY Tech and served 5 years as a union sheet metal worker. Since then, I've spent nearly 10 years in the casino business split between 3 states. I worked for 2 years as Project Manager for Habitat for Humanity and before taking my current position, I spent 6 years locally for Thermwood Corporation in Dale. Lastly, I spend a lot of my spare time writing novels. I penned and released my debut novel; The Fine Line between GOoD anD EVIL last year and I'll be releasing my 2nd novel this April.

Jeff Stillman – I am dedicated to making CLV the best that it can be and have the time to do it. I am a life member of the VFW and past Post Commander. As a director, I would work to make improvements to CLV that is equitable to every member while making sure we do it in the most cost effective way.

I am asking my neighbors in the Village to consider electing me to the Board of Directors. My wife Diane (Oeding) and I moved into the village on January 4th, 2021 from Jasper. We have three grown children and five grandchildren. While living in Jasper I served on the City council for two terms and in 2020 retired after 24 years on the dubois county Sheriff's Merit Board. I attended Jasper High School, Western Kentucky University and received my BA from Middle Tennessee State University. I consider myself semi-retired from the athletic sales and sports field maintenance industry while still participating and consulting with park & recreation, athletic directors & coaches related to all school sports. You may have seen me out walking the roads of the Village as I've become known as the guy who picks up trash. I believe I can provide some fresh eyes and offer different solutions to many of your concerns. Thanks for your consideration.
